ADVENTURE AWAITS - ORIENTATION 2024

Welcome to Orientation Week 2024! We are proud to announce our theme this year is Adventure Awaits!

The UNBSU O-Week is a time-honoured tradition, 100% student-run, and a cornerstone of student experience. Last year we welcomed over 1,500 incoming students to our beautiful campus, community, and city!

The transition to university is an extremely influential time for students. As you embark on your university journey our diligent team of RedShirts (student leaders) will guide you towards success. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that O-Week is a safe, inclusive, and positive experience for all incoming students. We work diligently to curate adventures and events where students can form healthy, long lasting connections.

During your O-week adventure, you’ll form lifelong friendships, chart your course forward, and begin to learn who you are and what you value. We aim to help you find your path and place in the world, foster new connections, and delve into our campus community. The three points on compass of this year’s logo embody the three pillars of O-week:

COMMUNITY, AUTHENTICITY, INCLUSIVITY.

UNBSU Orientation is a branch of the UNB Student Union that organizes Orientation Week events. We bring together new students of all faculties, residences and areas of campus to our fully inclusive events designed to allow students to form connections immediately when they arrive at UNB, virtually or physically. We are a 100% student-run organization facilitated each year by our amazing Redshirts and Blackshirts; who are among the most passionate and spirited students imaginable.

We hope that, like many students before you, your O - Week will be the opening chapter to many UNB adventures.
