Announced by the Provincial Government on April 14th, the Tuition Accesses Bursary (TAB) is an upfront grant, non-repayable bursary; that will work with the federal grant, to help a student from low and middle-income family attended post-secondary. The UNB Student Union, along with the NBSA, have been advocating for years for the implementation of upfront grants.
We are pleased to see this development of TAB and will continue our advocacy work to ensure that the program can be implemented appropriately and have the most impact for students. This page is to document some of the UNBSU media comments on the topic.
