White pine trees symbolize authenticity by representing a longstanding and integral part of Fredericton's natural environment and cultural heritage. Their presence signifies continuity, authenticity in historical roots, and a sense of belonging to the land.

 Just as white pine trees have deep roots in the soil of Fredericton, authenticity is rooted in honoring and preserving local history, traditions, and natural surroundings.
